Latest
October 31, 2026Steadier; phantom right-turn-lane signals gone so far; Standard mode respects the limit; Hurry good on the highway.
14.3.12October 24, 2026Better right lane, late exit timing, then unnecessary right-turn-lane signals returned.
14.3.9September 13, 23 and 28, 2026Left-lane camping fixed, quicker turns; early exit-lane moves, right-turn-lane resistance, braking jitters; later, unexplained right signals. We went straight from 14.3.9 to 14.3.12.
14.3.8Early September 2026Brief; parked itself in the passing lane.
14.3.7Summer 2026Frustrating lane choices and hesitation at four-way stops during our first 100 days.

Researching FSD before deciding whether to subscribe? If you already own a Tesla and have not had FSD in the past year, you may be able to try it free for a month on your own roads.

The trend so far

Across these builds, the clearest pattern on our roads has been lane behavior: from camping in the left lane (14.3.8), to an overcorrection toward the right (14.3.9), to better right-lane timing (late 14.3.9 and 14.3.12), with unexplained right signals appearing and disappearing along the way. 14.3.13 is the steadiest build we have run so far, and Standard mode's speed discipline has finally improved.

Progress is not perfectly linear. 14.3.12 seemed to settle signaling before it regressed, which is why every entry keeps its date and I avoid calling anything permanently fixed.

How we review each version

Every observation comes from our own Quicksilver Model 3 on our normal routes, dated and tied to the installed version. We separate what Tesla's release notes claim from what we actually felt, and we never test safety features or provoke failures. Read the complete running narrative in our FSD owner log, or our FSD trial checklist if you are about to try it yourself.

Questions about FSD versions

What is the latest Tesla FSD version you have reviewed?

FSD (Supervised) 14.3.13, as of October 31, 2026. In our Model 3 it is the steadiest build so far.

Which FSD version was the biggest improvement?

For us, 14.3.9 felt like the biggest single jump because it stopped the left-lane camping we saw on 14.3.8. 14.3.13 has been the most stable overall.

Can I try the latest FSD for free?

If you already own or lease an eligible Tesla and have not had an FSD trial or paid subscription in the past 12 months, Tesla's FSD referral program may give you a one-month trial in the Tesla app. See how it works.

Supervised means supervised. FSD (Supervised) requires an attentive driver ready to take control and does not make the vehicle autonomous. These are dated observations from one Model 3 on our own routes; behavior varies by vehicle, hardware, build, location and conditions.
